It has been a crazy long time since I've logged on here. I knew it had been a while, but almost a year. Just.

WOW!

Since my last post, which I quite honestly don't even remember what pictures it contained (yikes!) I have developed a new love

Announcements/Invitations!

I know I do, and my wallet does too

When you have  a baby, or get older for that matter, you start sending out announcements or cards for everything.

Christmas - check
Easter - check
Birthday - check
Because it's a Tuesday & you snapped a good picture of your adorable baby and you want to show it off to the world so hey, let's make a card for that - check

I love designing the cards SO much I offer to anyone who mentions anything about any even they don't yet have an invitation for. I've also thrown two baby shower's & a gender reveal for my brother and sister-in-laws, so cute invitations for these things - ah, you know where this is headed

Anyways, here are a handful of examples of invitations/announcements I have used in the past, uhh....year (embarrassed face) :-/

Now, there are lots of adorable pictures to go along with these as well. Will I get around to posting them? Possibly. Hopefully. I loved how our First Birthday Shoot pictures turned out, so I have plans to post some of them, soon. 

I have also strongly considered opening a shop on Etsy so I can try to get into making custom invites, because it's fun for me. However, I doubt myself so much I always change my mind. One day though, one day, I just might try it out and see how it goes. 

Fall was made for photo shoots

I thought it would be a nice change to get away from all these pictures of myself (and the fiancé)
and move on to someone else, at least for today ;)

So, who exactly will be in the spotlight???

My beautiful little sister Logan.

With the time for Senior pictures quickly approaching, as well as my FAVORITE season...FALL!!
I figured it was no less than a perfect time to share this quick little photo shoot from last fall.

She was actually only a Junior at the time, but you get the idea.
This also means I will soon have the pleasure of taking Senior pictures for all three of my sisters
Can't wait to share them with you!!

But for now, here is a little "blast from the past."

And yet again, it has been a while! 

I know, I know - I'm slacking. But this time I feel like it's been for good reason!

We had our beautiful, incredible, PERFECT baby girl. I'm sure sometime soon I will embrace the opportunity to share photos and maybe even a birth story. 

Before this, however, comes...

Maternity Photos!

I'm actually a bit embarrassed because we got so many maternity photos that I just adore.

And I have plans for newborn pictures, but at this point we have almost missed the "newborn" mark. 

Gosh, this mom thing consumes a person - in such a wonderful way, might I add.

Anyways, it's on my to-do list. And we WILL get some done. Then I can share.

Until then, here is a flash back to my super wonderful pregnancy. I loved every single minute of it and am so incredibly grateful for the experience.

We used dandelions - Wishing Weeds - for part of our maternity shoot.

What with all the wishes we had to one day have her in our lives.

Now that she is here, she has far exceeded any wish I ever had.
